Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ElevateUp (“we”, “us”, “our”) — an individual operating an independent product (not a registered company), based in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India — collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our website and app (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
ElevateUp is operated by Abhishek Bharti, an individual operating an independent product (not a registered company). For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@elevateup.ai.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to provide AI communication coaching:
- Account information — your name and email address, and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the basic profile information those providers share. Passwords are stored only as a secure one-way hash, never in plain text.
- Profile & practice inputs — details you add to your profile and the practice prompts you choose.
- Voice recordings, transcripts & scores — the audio you record for a practice session, the text transcript produced from it, and the resulting scorecards, drills, and progress metrics.
- Payment information — subscription plan and billing status. Card / UPI / bank details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Razorpay; we never see or store your full payment credentials.
- Device & notification data — a push-notification token (if you enable notifications) and basic device/app information.
- Usage & diagnostics — how you use the Service (feature usage, counts), plus logs and error reports used to keep it secure and working.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the core Service — transcribe your recordings, generate scorecards and drills, and track progress.
- To manage your account, subscription, and entitlements, and to process payments via Razorpay.
- To send you service messages, reminders, reports, and (if enabled) notifications.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, debug problems, and comply with law.
- To understand and improve the Service in aggregate.
We process your information to deliver the Service you request and with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting the relevant content or your account (see §7).
4. AI processing & the providers we rely on
Delivering your scorecard means sharing some data with trusted third-party processors who act on our behalf under contractual terms that restrict them to providing their service to us:
- Speech-to-text — your recording is sent to our transcription provider (Deepgram) to produce the transcript.
- AI evaluation — your transcript is sent to our AI model provider (Anthropic, “Claude”) to generate the scorecard and drills.
- Storage & infrastructure — audio is stored with our cloud storage provider (Cloudflare R2); the app runs on our hosting provider and databases.
- Payments — Razorpay. Email — our email provider (Resend). Notifications — Expo. Analytics & error monitoring — PostHog and Sentry (where enabled).
These providers process your data only to provide their service to us and, under their API terms, do not use your content to train their own models. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your recordings for advertising.
5. Data retention
We keep your voice recordings only briefly and then delete the audio file automatically — typically 7 days on the Free plan and 30 days on paid plans — while retaining the derived transcript, scorecard, and progress so your history stays useful. Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and as required to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can delete an individual session at any time, which removes its audio promptly.
6. Sharing & disclosure
We share personal information only with the processors listed in §4, and where necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights and safety of users and the public. If the Service is ever transferred to another operator, we will require them to honour this Policy.
7. Your rights & choices
You can:
- Access and update your profile information in the app.
- Delete individual practice sessions (removing their audio) at any time.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or ask us to close your account, by emailing support@elevateup.ai.
- Turn notifications on or off, and cancel your subscription at any time (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy).
We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable period.
8. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and least-privilege handling. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and will notify you of a material breach where required.
9. International transfers
Some of our providers (for example, our speech-to-text and AI model providers) process data on servers outside India, including in the United States. By using the Service you consent to this transfer, which is carried out under appropriate contractual safeguards.
10. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service, and limited analytics to understand usage. We do not use advertising cookies.
11. Children
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
13. Grievances & contact
For any privacy concern, complaint, or request — including under India’s applicable data protection law — contact Abhishek Bharti at support@elevateup.ai. We will acknowledge and work to resolve your grievance promptly.
